The Challenge

Construction companies in India are under relentless pressure to deliver projects on time and within budget. For purchase departments, this means constantly sourcing vendors who are reliable, cost-effective, and available when needed. But historically, vendor discovery has been limited to existing networks—conversations, phone books, and Excel sheets.

When existing vendors are unavailable or overpriced, delays follow. These setbacks cascade into missed timelines and rising interest costs on capital, putting pressure on the entire organization.

Value delivered

Neevay was built to fix this. By offering a live vendor network, an RFQ management, negotiation, and collaboration tools, it helps purchase teams move faster, negotiate better, and keep projects on track.

Purchase teams reduce their dependency on old relationships, cut down procurement cycles, and gain greater control and visibility over spending. Management gains clarity on performance, and approval flows.

Identity

At first glance, the logo might look like just three separate shapes. But there’s more to it. With a rounded rectangle and two hexagons, our designers created a symbol that any manager would recognize — a task board.

This familiar element shows how the app helps teams stay organized and manage their projects effectively. The shapes are meaningfully placed with the proper use of white space to create a sense of order and symmetry.

Background

To design Neevay, we spent time with procurement teams at mid and large construction firms across India. Through conversations with purchase managers and CXOs, we uncovered the daily chaos—Most teams were juggling between email threads, WhatsApp groups, Excel sheets, and phone calls—no centralized system to track quotes, vendor performance, or order value. Negotiations were manual. Data was buried or missing. Vendor discovery relied heavily on who you knew.

Quote tracking, vendor performance, and approvals were fragmented. Discovery depended on personal contacts. The problem wasn’t missing features—it was a broken system. So we set out to build something fundamentally better.

RFQ Management

Purchase managers can select vendors, send RFQs, and receive quotes—all within one platform. Neevay automatically ranks vendors by price and highlights line-item differences, revealing when the lowest overall quote (L1) isn’t best for every item.

No more Excel copy-pasting or manual comparisons. The tool handles bid leveling for you and even allows in-platform negotiations to drive prices lower.

Reporting

Numbers mean little without context. Neevay’s visual breakdowns provide clarity on how small, mid, and large orders are distributed, which vendor segments are growing or shrinking, whether RFQ close rates are improving or declining, and how many vendors are being invited—and how that’s shifting over time. Procurement is no longer a black box; it's a strategic lever.

‘‘The new interface has made the application extremely easy for the purchase managers to use it on a day-to-day basis. The management also gets superior signals from the app.’’
